The Dorm in Diez

It has been so long since a post! So much has happened in the last year! Id love to post a summary but if you have kept up with us on Facebook you are pretty well caught up! 

That dorm went up and its as cute as a gingerbread house! We have showed the kids movies in it with our movie equipment and also it now has electricity and has been painted! It will be a great ministry tool for sure!

Dorm Project 2015

We have a great desire to see some small dorms added to bless the main base village, Diez de Abril. If these come together like we hope, we can bring groups down for trips made much easier. Each dorm at about 10ftx10ft would have 2 sets of bunk beds. We have a vision to connect more dorms as the finances come in to make this possible.

Happy Spring from the Baileys! From planting in the garden and loads of yard work and spring cleaning to having birthdays, to keeping up in (home) school so we can finish up come June 1st, we have been busy to say the least! Its been a good kind of busy as our kids have been having a blast with some new pets - they got little baby red-ear slider turtles for their birthdays! Evey just turned 9, March 17th! (Wow! where does the time go?) Nate just turned 4 years old March 31st - he named his turtle Nemo and loves to play with it. Moriah turned 7 on April 15th. She wanted so badly to ride a horse but I think the circus did just fine! AND we all got to ride an elephant! How cool is that?!

My New Hobby

My newest hobby has seemed to take up every ounce of my free time. Not a bad thing. It even brings in some money!
 I've always remembered what someone said before, "find out what you love and figure out how to get paid to do it!" Well that is what I've done!
 I SEW! Yes I've been making baby blankets that are oh so cozy, snuggly! They are made with the ultra soft fabric called MINKY! I have even drawn the adults to the minky by making throw blankets for the living room and even the size of a double/queen bed. You can put whatever choice of pattern/sport/color on these! The possibilities are nearly ENDLESS!!!!! I'll post some pics for you to see...let me know what you like!!

Time to come out of the Zombie Zone!!!

Heres my bundle of snuggles... now 2 months old!

and what did i mean by the....Zombie Zone, U ask? well everyone that has had a baby knows its hard to get kicked back into gear after labor and delivery...oh and my husband had emergency surgery two weeks after that, then i had surgery...we had needless to say a LOT of recovering going on for a while around here!
Now i'm sensing a new spring in my step and feel i'm able to breathe again after the fog has lifted.
So I've picked back up on my newest hobby of sewing! I made this brown minky/ribbon blanket u see in these shots.

Its been a whole year...

...and too long! Facebook has taken over my writing space. and a lot more than that i think. well, i'll be around...maybe post some pics of the newest addition to the family! we had our first son in March!
